About The Artist Loren Wilder received her MFA in 1988 from Wayne State University in Scenography. Loren became the scenic and lighting designer of the Snowmass/Aspen Repertory Theatre in 1988 after a stint with The Cornerstone Theatre Company. Deciding to stay in the Aspen area she soon opened LB Design Studio a 6000 sq. ft. scenic shop catering to custom corporate events and theme parties. Closing the shop in 2001 she went to work for Robert Singer and Associates a high end architectural lighting design firm. Architectural work proved to be good money but failed to excite Loren's inner muse so she returned to theatrical lighting in 2003 and has continued to freelance in scenic design, sewing and lighting ever since. Loren Wilder Loren has a wonderful family, her husband Gordon is the Production Manager and Head Sound Engineer at the Wheeler Opera House and her son Cody is in his second year of college at Colorado University at Boulder. Her Mom, Dad and extended family all live in her home state of California.
